Learning data science isn’t easy, but there are tons of resources out there to help you get started.
But how do you learn data science? Let’s take a look at some of the steps you can take to begin your journey into data science without needing a degree.
Look for Resources
Resources for learning data science are everywhere. There are various communities such as Datatau, the Kaggle Forums, and the data science subreddit that are friendly to learners, are filled with useful resources, and help keep you current with emerging trends in data science.
Learn a Programming Language
To build a strong foundation in data science, we recommend learning at least one programming language. When picking a programming language, start with looking at Python or R since these are the most commonly used programming languages in data science
Background in Basic Statistics
